Advance: Zeltia Montes and the Free Love

After her work with director Ignacio Vilar in Pradolongo (2008), that earned her the first of her two Jerry Goldsmith Awards as well as a nomination for the MundoBSO Awards, Zeltia Montes has again collaborated with the director in Vilamor, drama set in the Seventies in a remote part of northwestern Spain where a young altruistic encounters the inhabitants of a commune appeared in the vicinity of his village and is seduced by the ideal of an alternative lifestyle, but everything is complicated when he falls for a girl of the commune… Here we present a preview of the music of the composer. When the film gets its release, we will offer you an interview with her, in which she will detail the key to her work.

Zeltia Montes wins at Garden State Film Festival

The score of the animated film La tropa de trapo en el país donde siempre brilla el Sol (USA title: The Happets in the Kingdom of the Sun) has won the the Best International Orchestration Award at the Movie Music Competition of the Garden State Film Festival (New Jersey, USA).  It is composed by Zeltia Montes, who also won her second Jerry Goldsmith Award for this same score.

La tropa de trapo en el país donde siempre brilla el Sol is an animated 3D film that tells the story of a cow that plays with her rag friends and that, envious of some sheeps that will be part of a show, is determined to become a star, thinking she is fooling around with a wrong group of friends. The score is released by Quartet Records.
